Credit Facilities & Payments

Q: What credit facilities do Atkinsons have? 

A: Atkinsons offers a choice of low cost finance options, please call in for a written quotation, subject to status.

Alternatively open an Atkinsons unique chargecard and receive a permanent 2.5% discount every month on items charged to your account and settled in full by the 20th of each month. It also entitles you to special offers and extra discounts throughout the year. You can't afford to be without an Atkinsons chargecard, its the easy way to shop & save.

Delivery Service

Q: What are your delivery charges? 

A: Local delivery charge £12.50. Areas beyond the specified local area will be charged accordingly, please ask for details.

If you require, for a nominal charge old pieces of furniture can be removed at the time of delivery:-
Beds £25, Three piece suites £35, Washers £10, Fridges £25, TVs £15, Hifi, DVD etc. £10.

Returns & Exchange Policy

Q: What are Atkinsons returns and exchange policy?

A: We are happy to exchange or refund on any product returned to us in a fully re-saleable condition, accompanied by a valid till receipt, within 28 days. Without a valid till receipt we will exchange at the current or last selling price for alternative product(s) only.

Items that are reduced by 50% or more will be exchanged for product only.

Exceptions to this policy are clearly displayed in store.

Your statutory rights are not effected.

Gift Vouchers

Q: Where can I purchase gift vouchers from,
     what are the prices of your gift vouchers?
    
A: Gift Vouchers can be purchased from Customer Accounts.
They are available in £1, £5, £10 and £20 denominations.

Curtain Services

Q: What are your curtain services? 

A: The curtain department has been completely refurbished within the first floor. Offering an extensive range of both custom made and ready made curtains along with blinds, voiles, net curtaining and accessories.

In ready made curtains you can select from the latest ranges of sundour, curtina, and associated home fabrics.

A comprehensive blind offerign includes vertical, venetian, roller, and roman, in either made to measure or take and trim options.

Disabled Customers

Q: Is there a disabled access in and out of your store?

A: There is good disabled access from any entrance into and out of the store. The front main entrance is on the ground floor directly leading to the Moor pedestrian precinct.

Q: Is there a lift to all floors of the store and car park? 

A: There are three integral lifts which service all floors including the car park directly above the store.

Q: Is there wheelchair access to every floor of the store?

A: Also in store are disabled wheelchair ramps and a specially designed lift in order to gain access to the lingerie department on the mezzanine level.

Q: Do you have a disabled toilet and where is it? 

A: The disabled toilet is situated on the first floor next to the Leading Labels Department.

Travelling To Us

Q: How can I travel to your store?

A: Atkinsons benefits from a frequent bus service with many routes taking them directly past the rear of the store on Charter Row.

Q: Is there a car park near Atkinsons?

A:  Atkinsons is situated on the Moor precinct within the City Centre of Sheffield. The Moor is a bustling pedestrian precinct and this is where you will find the main entrance if arriving on foot.

Q: How will I approach Atkinsons by bus or car?

A: The rear of the store faces Charter Row, a busy dual carriage way, this is the way you will approach the store if you are arriving by both bus or car. The NCP car park above the store is accessed via Charter Row.

How to find us by car

Q: How do I find Atkinsons by car?

A: From both North and South leave the M1 motorway at junction 33.

Take the A630 Sheffield Parkway and follow it through to the Park Square roundabout in the City Centre, take your fourth exit off the roundabout onto Commercial street, follow the road around to the left and onto Arundel Gate. At the end of Arundel Gate you will come to the Furnival Square roundabout, take the third exit onto Furnival Gate, at the end of Furnival Gate you will come to Charter Square roundabout, take the first exit on the left, you will now be on Charter Row.

You will find Atkinsons and the ramp to the NCP car park is half way down Charter Row on your left.

Restaurants & Cafes

Q:  Where can I eat in Atkinsons?

A:  Atkinsons first floor traditional restaurant is the place for excellent quality home cooked food and desserts. It offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, just what you need at the end of a long day shopping.

There are three other eateries, Massarellas on the ground floor, Cafe Moda on the first floor, and the new Caffe Nova deli style cafe on the corner of Charter Row and Fitzwilliam Street. All perfect for a relaxing snack, tea or coffee or maybe just a friendly chat. Stop for a while and relax.

Q: Where are the toilets?

A: On the first floor you will find the toilets, including full disabled access plus a baby changing room.
